The Full Process

How proxy sourcing gets you a wholesale vehicle, legally and on the record.

GTA Wholesale Auto Sourcing is an OMVIC-licensed General Dealer (Used). That license is what allows us to bid on your behalf at closed dealer-only auctions — something Ontario law does not permit an unlicensed member of the public to do directly. Below is exactly what happens between your request and your delivery.

1

Vehicle Wishlist & Pre-Approval

You tell us your budget, must-have features, and mileage ceiling through a short intake form. Before any bidding begins, we confirm you're either paying cash or pre-approved through a Tier-1 bank financing partner (TD, Scotiabank, RBC) via Dealertrack or RouteOne — so every bid we place is backed by real, confirmed buying power.

2

Live Auction Matching & Pre-Bid Diagnostic Audit

Our registered dealer principals monitor live inventory at OPENLANE and Manheim Milton for lots matching your wishlist. Before we place a bid, we run a pre-bid diagnostic audit on the vehicle's condition report, CarFax history, and auction-grade to flag anything that would disqualify it from your criteria.

3

Flatbed Haul to Etobicoke Hub & DriveON Safety Certification

A won vehicle never goes straight to you. It's flatbed-hauled to our Etobicoke hub first, where it undergoes a full PSI mechanical inspection and an Ontario DriveON Safety Standards Certificate inspection — the same certification required by law before any used vehicle can be registered in Ontario.

4

Open-Book Invoicing & Turnkey Driveway Delivery

You receive the raw auction invoice — the exact hammer price — itemized alongside every pass-through cost (buyer fee, PSI, tow, DriveON safety) and our flat $1,500 CAD sourcing fee. Nothing is bundled or hidden. Once you sign off, the vehicle is delivered turnkey, flatbed, straight to your driveway.

Common Questions About the Process

Answers to what buyers ask before their first sourcing request.

Ontario's Motor Vehicle Dealers Act, 2002 restricts bidding at closed dealer-only wholesale auctions to registered OMVIC dealers. As a licensed General Dealer (Used), GTA Wholesale Auto Sourcing bids on your behalf under our own dealer credentials and passes the exact hammer price and invoice through to you.
We continue monitoring live inventory against your wishlist with no time limit and no obligation. There's no cost until we successfully win a matching vehicle on your behalf.
Yes. Once the vehicle arrives at our Etobicoke hub and completes its PSI inspection and DriveON safety certification, you're welcome to view it in person before final sign-off and delivery.
